Math tutorials is scheduled for Monday - Thursday from 2:40 - 3:10....Available teacher is posted by math classroom doors. Check with a math teacher if you have questions.  Students can come and go as needed during this time and are not required to stay for the entire time.

Transportation is not provided for students attending tutorials. Students must have their own transportation home by 3:10.

Ms. Holda: Room 156                  Monday - Thursday

Mrs. Snedaker: Room 147           Monday - Thursday  (morning available upon request)

Ms. Jones: Room 148                   Tuesday and Thursday

All math teachers are involved in tutoring, so even though the student has one teacher for math, a different math teacher might be available for tutorials.

All students (Academic and PreAP) are encouraged to attend tutoring whenever they are confused by a concept or just need a few questions about homework or classwork answered.

Because we will have a variety of students, needs, and concerns, tutoring is not used to reteach a whole concept, or teach a new lesson; but rather to give students a chance to get specific questions about classwork or homework answered. Students should be prepared to share with the teacher what they are confused about and what they specificially need help with.

The tutoring teacher might not be the student's actual math teacher, so students should come to tutoring with class notes, classwork, homework, or a corrected quiz or test and a specific question or problem from the assignment. Using specific problems or questions that the student has worked on or is currently working on helps teachers to target an individual need and allows for more students to be helped in the time available.

Students do not need to stay for the entire tutoring session; once the student's question is answered or concern is cleared up, the student is free to leave.

Each six weeks, the concepts will change depending on what is being covered in class.  The calendar below will also include the days that students have quizzes and tests-along with the review sheets to go with the tests (but you can also find them in the "Pages and Files" tab.

You might also get lucky and find copies of homework on the calendar...but we want to make sure that students learn to be responsible for bringing their work home on their own, so don't expect that a copy of your homework will always be posted....

If you do not see the concept PDF file on the calendar, please look in the "pages & files" tab in the appropriate folder.  If you are looking for a document from a previous six week, then it will be in that six week's folder.
